Panoramic Images

Panoramic images were made for each of the bird photo points. Click on the thumbnail images to see the much larger panoramic images using our Panoramic Image Viewer. Each image is 360 degrees wide. The left and right edges are both facing north. North is also marked with a red vertical line.

Each image is about 1MB in size, and 5000-6000 pixels wide - this may be slow for users with a dialup connection. The viewer requires Silverlight 2.0 (or later) to run.

The viewer opens in a new window, and allows you to compare a location's panoramic photographs for different years. This is performed using a slider which fades from one year's image to another.
